DisneyScrappers

Hey guys, I have to pass along a tip from Nancy Burke. She helped me with my ears this past weekend. Do you have disney ears? if so I bet they pinch your head like crazy. You want it to be holding onto your head but not to the point that you have a terrible headache.

If you snip the inside fabric of your headband toward one end, you can pull the whole headband out.

Here is a photo of Nancy's (you can tell because her nails are so nice). You just use your heat embossing tool and heat the middle area a little at a time while stretching it out. Aim away from your hand. Just go slowly and test it to make sure you have it right before putting it back together.

Here is a photo of mine when I took it out. I also took my bow off so that I could make 2 bows and just pin them on when I need them. You can see I have stretched mine out alot. I also put new padding fabric in the spot where the old foam padding was because mine was messed up.

Then you just push the headband back in place and with mine, I tore up like 1" of the inside of the tip of the headband taking it out so see that small black piece, that is black ribbon that I stitched over the opening that I had made.

I hope this is helpful to someone. I know it helped me!
