disneyscrappers

Hey guys - try to follow me here. Many of us have die cutting machines that allow us to cut out shapes if we have a .jpg image.  I wanted to have us share our jpg shapes here that we use for disney pages and we can share some that are not going to be Disney copyright issues, but anything that is a character or clearly copyrighted shape, only share a photo of one you have made. Then if someone would like to "know more about it" they can send you a private message. You see?

For example here is a layout with a shape that is a grey mickey globe that resembles an older Epcot icon that I created and it would not be one that I would share a .jpg of publicly but I can tell you more about how it was created if you send me a private message. This kind of shape is a good one for us to just share a photo of how we used it on a page.

and here is a shape that I use alot on my tropical or jungle Disney pages and I would be happy to share with you guys. It doesn't infringe on any kind of copyright but its great for Disney. Just click on it and you can save it from here. You have to cut it at least like 3" or more for it to cut well, but it works very nicely.

here is another one you might like for haunted mansion, New Orleans Square, or one of the resorts. I used it for this layout below

and if anyone would like to know more about this Vine Border one, let me know

I call this one peace love and mickey :)

And here is the flower that matches the ones at Pop Century

These are great images!!

I have a cricut machine so only cartridge based, If I were to invest in a cutting machine aswell which would you guys say is the best one?

oooohh! great question I would like to hear the answer as well. I use the cricut with Sure Cuts Alot but I know the software has changed a bit.

This is a great thread so very helpful. I will have to post some of my files here.

Michelle - I use the Pazzles machine. I like it because I like the way it cuts and their software that comes with the machine. Theres so much to learn with the Pazzles software but once you understand it, you can cut pretty much any shape or font. I for some reason, cant seem to get my Cricut to cut properly so I dont use it that much even though I have the cartridges, I just get really frustrated with it because it tends to tear my paper each time I use it.

I don't know if this is copyright or not -- I just downloaded a sun image from the internet and made it into an svg file for my Tangle layout --

The Mickey in the center is a punch I have.

here is the jpg of the sun

Then I just hit shadow on my Cricut in SCAL to make the shadow in the back.

I also made the mini sun, but can't link the shadow or sun here because they are SVG files and I can't seem to get them to upload.  So email me if you want them.

I haven't finished this layout yet.  I started it a couple of months ago and is based on a one page sketch from Susan.  The flower was originally a die cut that I cut from black paper and altered with scissors to make it match the flowers in the paper.  Then I made it into an SVG file and cut it out in several sizes.

Thank you susan and orlanda I will look into these options , Thank you for your feedback.

oh thanks Tami! very cool shapes

Oooh, I love those...I need the Peace, Love and Mickey for when I scrap these pictures  from our cruse.  Mickey saw Morgan's t-shirt (that we made) and did the peace sign :)

I made an SVG/SCUT file of the swirly Mickey head punch...It's on my blog.  Is that okay to share?

You can share the link. I will also send you a private message with the peace sign. :)
